I found an incredible variety of molds on eBay and I had to try this. It’s amazing how well it turned out. The molds are made in plastic and can be reused many times. Now I just have to find out how I can use all the things I have casted. I have some plans …
Love this , we have made the rhubarb stepping stones love the ideas for new ones. Thanks for sharing .
My father was born in Sweden , and we have relatives in Lulea .Margaret
How strong or durable would the larger forms be? If used as path or walk could you ride a lawn tractor over them?
The largest stepping stones are about 2-2,5″ thick so they should hold for a lawn tractor and even heavier vehicles. The thinner stepping stones are only for walking paths or decoration. You can find the molds I have used on Ebay. Just search for the seller Gostatue.
Hello Monica, Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge! Great work.
I love the butterfly ones and the set of 4 tiles. I would love to use these molds to make clay tiles (not for walking or pathways but may be as coasters). I love clay stuff and love decorating/painting them. I have to look for such molds one of these days.
very inspiring! thank you for sharing
I love the door! Always wanted to work with concrete and hypertufa. 2015 may be the year. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your work.
I love your work and am inspired by the art and ideas. Can I recycle bottles by breaking them and stirring them in the mix?
I have never tried this, but it should work. Just make sure there are no sharp edges from the glass on the finished item.
I love your work; you’ve given me more creative ideas.
Hi Monica, I am going to try my hand at casting – I have seen (on Pinterest of course!) that you can color the concrete by replacing 1/4 of the required water with latex paint. Have you heard of this or tried this?
I have heard of this but never tried it myself. I have only used concrete color pigment in some smaller castings.
Hi Monica,
I usually go for your Cameo things. But in this moment I watched your concrete-section and I am really impressed. You make very creative things. I like them. Especially the floewrs, made in August 16

Hi Monica,
I just found your site today and just wanted to say I think you are a wonderful arttist! I see work like yours and I wish I had that exposure when I was young and healthy. Even in my 60’s if I was healthy I think it would be exciting. I see your work and think what fun you must be, along with all your other dutys in life of course. I am posting from a small town in Kalamazoo, Michigan USA
